I’m a woman and mom, sister, daughter, friend and wife.

I came to the United States over 8 yeas ago as a naive bride. This blog is a reflection of what I’ve seen and experienced both here and my life as it was in India before. And, how it has helped me learn and grow. Simply put its the lessons I’ve learned in my life.

Please check back for more updates, as I plan to add to this page often

Yet another reason why Indian men should not bring their chaste wives to the US. An example not to be followed!

  4. I din’t realize that you just started out blogging. All the best! Hope some of the desi girls who end up just serving their husband (without mutual respect, love & care) in the name of Indian culture get some place to vent and improve their lives abroad and back home too..

    • Thank you Anil!
I wanted to write about the plight of women for whom The American Dream actually turns into a nightmare. If stories of women living the high life abroad on their husband’s dime were all true, then we wouldn’t need so many domestic violence and women’s support agencies for desi women all over the USA.

Yes Anil, I do. If you know anyone who needs help living in the Bay Area by all means have them email me. But this blog and what I write are my own views and the agency that I volunteer with has nothing to do with this blog.
